What It Means to Be a Ride Guide

Ride Guides are local experts who help riders explore new terrain, gain confidence, and discover unforgettable outdoor experiences. Whether you’re leading a flowy trail session, a full-day gravel adventure, or providing 1:1 skills coaching, you create meaningful and safe experiences for riders of all skill levels. Guides set their own availability, choose their ride types, and get paid securely through our platform.

Guide Requirements

To join the Ride Guide community, you must: • Be an experienced and confident rider • Know local trails and terrain • Maintain a well-functioning bike and safety gear • Have a smartphone with GPS • Communicate clearly with riders • Provide a safe and enjoyable experience Recommended but not required: • First Aid / CPR certification • Coaching certifications • Trail association membership

Earnings

How Earnings Work

Guides set their own pricing for each ride. Ride Guide collects a 30% commission from each completed booking. The remaining earnings are sent to your Stripe Express account.
